This article documents the complete process by which our team optimized a typical WordPress site&#8217;s load time from 5.2 seconds to 0.4 seconds.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The optimization work was divided into four phases. Phase 1: server-level optimization, including upgrading to PHP 8.2, configuring OPcache, and deploying Redis object caching. Phase 2: database optimization\u2014cleaning up redundant data, optimizing queries, and enabling database caching. Phase 3: WordPress core optimization, including plugin consolidation, theme code optimization, and lazy-loading strategies. Phase 4: frontend performance optimization, covering inline critical CSS, deferred JavaScript loading, WebP image conversion, and CDN acceleration.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For each phase, we provide specific configuration parameters and code snippets so readers can apply them directly to their own projects. Final test results show: LCP dropped from 4.1s to 0.8s, FID from 320ms to 45ms, and CLS from 0.25 to 0.02. All three Core Web Vitals metrics reached Google&#8217;s &#8220;Good&#8221; standard.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Performance optimization is not a one-time task; it is an ongoing process that requires continuous monitoring and adjustment.
